Joining KAvach Cricket Club is simple and structured around your goals and weekly schedule:

1. Join Weekdays Practice Sessions (KAvach Studio): If you want regular morning training and skill development, book a trial net session (Tue–Fri, 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM at Play Arena, Sarjapur Road) by filling our Trial Booking Form below.
2. Join Weekend Club Matches: If you are match-ready and want to play competitive Saturday/Sunday 20 or 30-over leather ball matches, complete our Official Registration Form ↗. Share your cricketing background or CricHeroes profile link.

Once submitted, our Think Tank committee will review your profile and connect with you on WhatsApp to confirm your trial slot or match assessment.

KAvach Cricket Club is ranked among Bangalore's Top 5 amateur cricket clubs and India's Top 20. Designed specifically for working professionals, adults, and senior cricketers, KAvach provides weekday morning practice sessions (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM) at Play Arena, Sarjapur Road in Bangalore South, structured 20/30-over weekend leather ball matches, and the marquee KAvach Premier League (KPL).

KAvach plays 100% seasoned leather ball cricket (red and white ball). We do not operate tennis ball teams. We warmly welcome senior and veteran cricketers (in their 40s and 50s) returning to cricket after years in corporate life, as well as young adults (16+). Our coordinators match players to suitable squads to ensure balanced, safe, and competitive games.

Our 400+ community is predominantly composed of working professionals from across Bangalore: Software Architects and IT engineers (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys), Doctors & Surgeons, Civil Servants & Government Officers, Startup Founders, CEOs, and corporate executives, alongside talented university cricketers and KSCA Division/State-level players.

KAvach welcomes players aged 16 years and onwards. We accommodate young aspiring players, busy working professionals in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, right through to veteran players returning for their second cricketing innings.

Because we play exclusively with seasoned leather balls, players must possess foundational cricketing skills, coachability, physical readiness, and a team-first attitude. As one of Bangalore's top-ranked clubs, we are selective about who joins our community to preserve our club culture and ground safety. Trial sessions allow our Think Tank to evaluate skill alignment and commitment. All rights of admission and membership are strictly reserved by club management.

All players represent KAvach. After attending a trial session, coordinators assign players to matching weekend fixtures based on net performance, verified CricHeroes statistics, or player references to ensure competitive, balanced games.

Yes! Through our Youth Cricket Initiative, young players who are full-time students and do not earn a salary yet can practice with us at zero cost. Furthermore, if a youth player performs exceptionally well (playing Karnataka Division 4 and above), KAvach Cricket Club takes care of part or all of their match and tournament fees.

Daily team practice sessions run Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM inside Play Arena, Kasavanahalli, Off Sarjapur Road, Bangalore South - 560035. Weekend matches take place on full-size cricket grounds across Bangalore.

No! The club arranges basic equipment (leather balls, bats, pads, keeping gloves). All you need is sports attire, running/turf shoes, and your own personal abdominal guard (for hygiene and safety).
